About Us

SCHASTEA

Serving primarily as a minimalist-style tearoom and crêperie, we offer a growing list of over 60 premium looseleaf teas meticulously sourced from all corners of the globe. Each unique tea has distinct health benefits and all are available for purchase in bulk for your enjoyment at home. Schasteâ’s gourmet crêpe menu draws inspiration from many cultural cuisines and consists of sweet and savory options that satisfy breakfast, lunch and dessert appetites. Schasteâ also provides non-crepe options, such as its own tea-infused baked goods and cocktails, breakfast sandwiches, and specialty drinks. As the entire menu is made to order, any crêpe can easily be made gluten-free or vegan.

  • Delicious even for a non crepe lover

I’m am not much of a crepe lover but have to say the crepe with salmon mouse on top was DELICIOUS! Two ordered their version of Huevos Rancheros & they were very happy. Another orders the Brie & apple crepe..also ver happy. We were hyped to go to Julian’s but the wait was 80 min this was a “Oh Well. I guess we will go here.” We were so happy with the food, the service was excellent, prices reasonable and no waiting to be seated.

  • We came for the crepes and fell in love!

I'm obsessed with crepes and unfortunately my husband never liked them... until we came here! We've been in several times and the quality and service is outstanding. They have really cool, creative cocktails, which was a very pleasant surprise!

  • Excellent menu and great staff

Crepes are consistently delicious and the variety of teas is remarkable. (You can also get coffee here). Staff is super nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. Vegan options available, all delicious.

  • A lucky find

We were in the neighborhood to grab some breakfast while passing through, and had planned on going to the well-reviewed Julian’s just down the street. When that ended up too loud and crowded, we popped into Schastea and wow what a great find! A lovely and calm atmosphere in a sleepy neighborhood on a Sunday morning. An impressive tea menu with something for everyone, even those who aren’t so into tea. We also enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast, with English muffin sandwiches all around and some sweet crepes to split (savory also available). Very reasonably priced and just hit the spot. At the end of our meal, the owner (kind and friendly) offered us a taste of delicious ice cream he’s experimenting with! A great spot for breakfast, a snack, or to study/read. Would definitely go back.
